PROJECTS
Berlin 2013

After years of abandonment the historic Armebad has been transformed into a language school, a hotel and an event space. This was made possible und severe requirements by the preservation order. The central space of the swimming-pool, which maintains its use for swimming can be used at the same time as event space. As both forms of usage must take place in the same space, the swimming-pool itsef, was renovated in order to comply with the new regulations. The building of a new inner wall inside the already existing and the construction of a movable floor enables the use of the whole space for  events while keeping the swimming-pool operating. + link +
